Planning a weekend in PC soon. Anyone have experience with this boutique hotel? We usually stay in Airbnbs, but I’m thinking about changing it up for this trip. Advice re: local restaurants and businesses also welcome.

Neat little hotel. I’ve stayed here a dozen times or so. There is nothing particularly special about the rooms, but you do get some snacks and the rooms have ceiling fans which is nice.

Thanks for your report. Have you eaten at Whiskey Prime, or enjoyed their bar? Thinking that we might check these out while there.

I have, I thought it was a little expensive for what it was but u enjoyed the food. There is a bar across the street that has live music sometimes, but I’ve not been in there.
Hooks is a decent little restaurant. We like bacchus as well. We always stop by island coffeehouse and pick up coffee/pastries/books and just go hang out and read on the beach all day. We will sometimes grab a poboy from pirates cove for lunch and we always make it a point to eat at Long Beach market and deli while down there. Bay St. Louis has some good restaurants as well, there should be a few threads about them on the board here.

Thanks. Good info!
We’ve been to BSL and Waveland often for long and short weekends, and love it! This time I wanted a place where it was impossible not to relax. We were in PC a couple of weeks ago, after researching a piece of property in Hancock county. (Decided to “pass” on the property.) Stopped at Cat Island Coffeehouse, as we always try to do. I could feel the stress just melting off of me. (We’ve both been under quite a bit of late.) Don’t want to add to our stress by trying to head to the FL or AL beaches right now. PC just seems to fit what we need at the moment.

We come down to PC 3-4 times a year to just chill and relax.

I thought it was a nice little hotel. Restaurant was 4/5 but easy. Two near bars across the street. The balcony is shared with three rooms.
