Have a family member going to Watercolor next month and they said all the beach chairs are rented out already. And it appears that Seaside may be private beaches.

There is an public area between Watercolor and Seaside called the Van Ness Butler Jr. Beach, but not sure if there are companies renting chairs and umbrellas there.

Thoughts?

Go to Grayton Beach state park a couple blocks away would be the best answer. As far as in Watercolor and Seaside, yeah I have no idea if the normal places are saying sold out. That sounds absurd.

also if they want to rent a Golf Cart I would recommend doing it soon as they only allow 40 to be rented at one time. Just booked one today.

There’s a public state park beach to the right of the main watercolor beach access - immediately after the WC chairs stop. If you get out there early and set up the tents/chairs, you can come back at your leisure. Just need to pick everything up at the end of the day.
