We had an amazing 5 nights at secrets playa Blanca, which is one of their newest properties. It’s only been open 14 months they said. Overall I can’t say there is anything to really complain about. The service and facilities were phenomenal, and the food and drinks were very good for all inclusive level. We booked in December 24, and now prices have pretty much doubled so I’m not sure we can afford to go back, at these prices, but we will keep it on the watch list for sure. We stayed in a Junior King Swimout non preferred and would do it again, preferred didn’t seem like a great value from what we saw.

Current rates are $550 a night late this summer. What did you pay?

Playa Mujeres is a gem. I’ll never go back to the hotel zone
The water isn’t as clear but it’s so quiet and more laid back
Blanco is great and Majestic was fantastic when we went last summer

Just shy of 800 a night. The same week in 2026 is 1600 a night.
