Headed there first week of August before school starts. Looks like a lot of good reviews anyone ever been? Any tips

What about any good restaurants near by the resort? Mexican steak, bbq

We are trying to decide if we want to head off the water park one evening.
Thanks

Been several times. Prepare to spend Disney resort type prices on everything onsite. Oh you want a beer in the waterpark...$15. Oh you want a slice of pizza, do you...well $20.

It is a fun time though, especially if you have kids.

Damn even they built that?
My childhood home was on the other side of 79 from it.

Still I doubt it beats Schlitterbahn.
