Some friends are going to a bachelor party at Lake Tahoe over Labor Day weekend. Does anyone have any ideas for the boyssss? We are renting a boat one day and going to the casinos at night.

Edgewood is supposed to be good food. Gar Wood's is a tourist-like place but has a huge deck on the lake if you want to sit out in the sun and have a few cocktails.

If you're staying around Heavenly, McP's Taphouse is a great bar.

Where in Tahoe? It's a big place. If it's a bachelor party, I'd assume somewhere around South Lake Tahoe...?

I’d go play at Edgewood and then eat dinner there afterwards for one day.

If you want to see some nature, Sand Harbor Beach in Nevada along the NE side of the lake has a cool non-sandy beach (tiny rocks) and cool big arse boulders on the beach if yall want to see a cool beach.

If you want to go to a cool sandy beach, DL Bliss State Park on SW side is neat (though I imagine crowded during peak season). We couldn't pull into the park because it was closed for the off-season, but it was open to hikers. We parked at the parking lot at the road and we started hiking the Rubicon Trail to the beach and then back to the car on the Lighthouse trail. My 4 and 2 year old loved it. I did have to wedge my 2 year old between my back and my backpack after she fell asleep on the walk back. Memories.

If you want to go for a short hike into not-too-far wilderness, a hike to Eagle Lake in the Desolation Wilderness right off Emerald Bay is a neat hike to a small alpine lake. It took me an hour to do the 2.34 mile hike out and back. You climb 450 feet to the lake.

Not sure a bachelor party is the proper venue for such activities, but enjoy. Also, they have delivery dispensaries.

You realize anything in south lake tahoe/edgewood area is at least a 45 min-1 hr drive if you are staying in the NW part of the lake??

Yes we did realize that. We will be mainly at the North side , but a couple of nights we will go to the south.

My friend(the bachelor) insisted we stay on the north side for his bachelor party. It was nice, but a huge pain the arse to drive for any decent nightlife. I would arrange a driver for the nights you want to go out.

Honestly I’d just change your lodging to south lake for a bachelor party.

also planning a lake tahoe bachelor party. Really want an airbnb but has anybody dealt with the 10 p.m. noise ordinance situation? It seems really strict and not ideal for a rental house with 10 guys.
