I always wonder why people spend tons of hotel rooms in Vegas and Disney. We are the types that are never in our room

Comfy bed and warm shower and I’m good. Save your money and Luxor will be fine.

Park MGM has been my go-to when not going for a blowout trip. Good middle range, good location. Rooms were redone a few years ago, although starting to show some signs of wear. Non-smoking is great for my purposes. Aria has very strong scent to mask the smoke that I don't care for, although I do stay there a good bit.

When cutting through NYNY, Excalibur and Luxor, the walk from Park MGM to the stadium really isn't bad at all.

Staying at Luxor Saturday-Tuesday for LSU game. Booked because close to stadium Friend said it was a dump. Should I rebook a different hotel? I will have a rental car. Also restaurant recommendations that are not too expensive? Thanks

I've stayed there many times. It's not my first choice, as I like mid strip hotels. It's also not as nice as the Aria, Bellagio, Venetian, and Wynn, but it's certainly not a dump. It's older and not as nice, but probably the thing you'll dislike about it most for the later part of your stay is it's location. It's at the far end of the strip, but it is close to the stadium. You should not rebook. It's fine.

You’re just as likely to get bed bugs at the five star hotels

If that’s the case, it’s not a dump.
Some snobby people around here.

I’ve only been to LV twice and stayed at the Bellagio in fountain view rooms both times.

Nice? Sure.
Special? Not at all.

This. I can do everything but sleep at a property without paying their rates. I've always been a fan of TI

What's your opinion about the Linq, Flamingo or Horseshoe?

We're staying at Aria. Is it a reasonable walk to/from the stadium from there? Don't really see the need to pay for parking to be a mile closer than the hotel.

Same walk as mentioned above from Park MGM but just add the connector from Park MGM to Aria.

You can just get to Excalibur, then take tram down to Mandalay Bay and do Stadium Walk.

Very easy.
