Has anyone stayed at this property? It opened later last summer.

Every year we attend a dance competition in Biloxi and stay at Margaritaville. After weeks of speculation, we just found out that the competition has been delayed from mid-May to mid-June (no surprise) but Margaritaville is completely booked that weekend. So was thinking of staying at the Oasis since it seems like it has a lot of similar amenities (nice pool, lazy river, waterslides, etc, but no arcade).

Just curious if anyone has any reviews of it. We will likely book it but can cancel 48 hours prior. Still not 100 percent sure this competition is going to actually happen in June.

I’m confused.. do resorts/hotels now have arcades and people determine if they’re staying there based on it?

The Margaritaville resort a few miles away (where we normally stay) has an indoor fun center with a bunch of arcade type games. A lot of larger family-focused resorts these days have them.

We booked this last night. So not having one isn't a deal-breaker for us. It does give the kids something to do if there is bad weather for a spell of time (which is almost daily on the coast in the summer).

Nah, it's a family resort. No casino (but it's next door to the Golden Nugget) and a short block or so walk from Harrah's.)

They applied for a gaming permit and were continuously denied but built it anyway. Basically had to turn it into a "kid's casino". They were rolling though. Pool area is pretty cool with slides and swim up bar.

Interesting, didn't know that. I wonder why they were denied. I didn't think MS had a limit.

They are doing a 200 million dollar expansion to Margaritaville. Currently under construction.

I stayed at Margaritaville last summer and was very disappointed. I will not go back. Good luck with the checking in process.

Centennial has an awesome water park and such behind it. Blue Marlin is a really good restaurant on site as well
