Hey Travel Board! Me and Mrs. Brown are spending a few nights in St. Francisville between Christmas and New Year’s. It’s a bit of a tradition. Every Christmas we go somewhere we’ve never been to relax and take in the culture/sights.
I did some research and it seems like a nice, quaint little town. Anything we should definitely do?? Avoid/not do??
Looking for some recommendations as far as restaurants!! We like doing local brewery’s if they have any…but I didn’t see anything online. Nature watching is nice…but it might be cold. Mostly low-key kinda stuff.
Sorry if this goes against board rules. I don’t frequent often…but I prob should.

Stay at the St. Francisville Inn Bed and Breakfast. They have a great little bar and restaurant. The rooms are nice and clean and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Touring The Myrtles is interesting if you have never done it before. I reccomend a night tour. The restaurant 1796 on the property is pretty good too.

go watch a sunset at the river (on river road). then head to the oyster bar on ferdinand
check out the new pizza place across from the Inn. there's a speak easy in the back--walk through the wardrobe
the bar in the inn is a blast. make sure you've got reservations at the saint in the inn

Stay at the St Francisville Inn,
Breakfast at the Birdman Coffee shop, it has new management and a great breakfast.
Some really good restaurants, 1796 in the myrtles, The Francis, St. Francisville Inn. They have the oyster bar also.
Plenty of nice boutique shops all within walking distance.
