Southaven,Ms. Where to avoid staying?

What areas to avoid in Southaven? Looking for places to stay for a baseball tournament and want a heads up before booking. Looking into air bnb over a hotel.

Horn lake seems much sketchier. There was a shooting at Walmart but I’d avoid that even if not. There’s a great little bar off Goodman rd and also an ny style pizza joint that’s epic. The movie theater is sketchy and gas stations.

Southhaven is where I stay to avoid Memphis lol. Lots of hotels on Goodman Road. Never really had any issues.

Stay east of 55, either in Southaven or Olive Branch. The tourney is probably at Snowden Grove, which is off of Getwell Rd.

Anywhere on Goodman Road would be fine.

I always stayed in Olive Branch when I had to work at Southaven. There use to be a BBQ place right next to the fairfield that had these bbq pork egg rolls that were good, but looks like it shut down.

Avoid staying north of it.
No idea on an Airbnb, but about any hotel south of Goodman Rd, and east of I-55 and over into Olive Branch will be fine.
