Booked a last minute 2 night trip using Marriott points. It’ll be me, wife (no pics) and our 3 year old son. Any restaurants or places / things to see that we should not miss?
I know it’s Texas wine country and we are certainly fine dropping in to a for a quick visit to a winery if they allow kids (I was told some of them are family friendly).
ETA - I realize the above may sound a little silly, so let me clarify what I was trying to get at. Given that it's a wine region, if there are family friendly vineyards with nice grounds or good views and scenery, we would consider stopping in for one glass of wine and see the sights and let our son walk around. No tours or tastings, just in-and-out in maybe 45 minutes. We are certainly not going there to seek out vineyards and plan a day around it.

Go hike up Enchanted Rock, although with a 3 year old it may be slow going.
Old Tunnel State Park has a nice, short and easy hiking trail down to the old train tunnel. The road it's on is a nice drive and goes to Comfort.
Highs Cafe in Comfort is a good lunch spot and way less touristy than F'burg. The crab cakes are surprisingly good
Hill Top Cafe about 20 minutes north of Fburg is another good spot.
Luckenbach is worth a visit even though its pretty cheesy. Check their music schedule for live music during the day/early evening. Albert Dance Hall and Bankersmith are 2 other chill spots w/ live music.

F’burg is awesome for a couple trip. So many wineries to visit it’s a great time.
With a 3 year old: I have no idea

Drive to Seaworld because I don’t think your 3 yr old likes wine, shopping for crap, or the Nimitz museum.

Go in September. Let the wife do some shopping and take your son dove hunting.
However given the fact you're going now I would check out Vaudeville, good restaurant, but they looked at me funny when I asked for a Miller Lite
