Has anyone ever taken this scenic train ride? How much was it and how long did it take? Was it worth it?

I've taken the one from Durango to Silverton. That was some of the most iconic Colorado mountains scenery I've ever seen.

Is this even possible? Where are you seeing it, if so?

Ya this doesn't exist...

The Narrow Gauge from Durango to Silverton is incredible though!

After further review, it doesn't exist. It looks like it gets to Silverton (a little southeast of Telluride).

I have a friend that took some route from Denver to the "general Telluride area" for the Bluegrass Fest.

Just trying to get some more info on it and whatnot.

Dammit. I started frantically googling when I saw the post because I was legitimately intrigued and possibly interested in doing something like that.

Yeah, I kinda got excited for a second, then realized there is no train from Denver to Telluride.

I've taken the amtrak from Denver to Grand Junction. As with almost all other amtrak trips I've taken, the train was several hours late picking us up in Denver. The ride was ok but not much you wouldn't see from a car on I-70 as the train runs along the interstate.
