Any go to bars or Breweries? Going to a Twins game, nothing else planned.

Target Field is in North Loop, so no shortage of bars, breweries and restaurants. Neighborhood is chalked with young professionals. For breweries, your options are Modist, Inbound, Fulton, Bricksworth, and Freehouse. All of them have outdoor spaces, so you can't go wrong, but I really enjoy Fulton before a Twins game. Aside from that, I would check out Graze - multi-level food hall with multiple bars, big lawn, rooftop, coffee bar, etc. If you've ever been to Avanti in Denver, it reminds me of that. Great spot for groups on a nice weekend day. If you'd prefer not to eat there, best pizza in North Loop is Black Sheep and Wrecktangle. If you're looking for something a bit more put together, but short of upscale (i.e. Spoon and Stable), Butcher & Boar just "reopened" in North Loop.
If there are any other neighborhoods you'd like to check out, I'd recommend Northeast. Again, you aren't lacking for bars and, especially, breweries. Bit more of a mix of young professionals and families, but not far from North Loop, either. Bauhaus is my favorite brewery to hang at. Psycho Suzi's is on the river and gets very crowded during the warmer months.
ETA: Unless your group is tied to sitting in actual seats, I'd recommend GA - cheap and there are a few bars around Target Field with good vantage points. My buddies and I usually just hang at Gray Duck in LF.

Awesome. Sounds like north loop is right on target for what we want, any other area (maybe the northeast) that has a ton of options all next to each other?
It'll me memorial day weekend, not sure how the weather will be.

Depending on your age, Dinkytown in another option - that's where the University of Minnesota is. Right across the river + accessible by light rail, too. Obviously, school will be out for summer, but plenty of kids stick around. Not far from Dinky is Surly, which has a fantastic outdoor space, and a newer distillery, O'Shaughnessy. I was in MPLS a couple weeks ago and was planning on the distillery / Surly, but got sidetracked in North Loop

Honestly, never know what you'll get with weather, but Minneapolis is usually in the low-mid 70s at that time of year.
ETA: I'm in Minneapolis every couple months because it's such a quick flight to/from Chicago, but I'm pretty sure SpartyGator lives there - he should be able to chime in with some recommendations, too.

We ended up at the Blarney I think it was called. Had a great time hanging out with both groups of fans. Not a lot of love for Fleck.

My bad - was traveling all last week and must have missed this! Blarney is solid - spent many drunk nights there when I was in college and would visit MPLS.
For future reference, couple other very popular bars on game day are Sally's and KK (OG location is in Madison, though!).

You came at a great time with some of the fall leaves and weather.
Hoops Galore had a great write up for stuff to do for future trips as well.

Just stopped at Surly for a beer and to watch the early morning games… the place looks awesome but not having any TVs there to watch a game is a travesty

Honestly, there are quite a few breweries out there without TVs. It's done purposely - I asked about this at Half Acre. They have TVs, but don't turn them on often and said a lot of breweries don't want to be looked at as a "sports bar" of sorts.

I can completley sympathize with this. TV's are for airports where nobody knows each other and you need a distraction for an hour or two.
At one time you had a sports bar, where TV's were the feature. TV's were expensive. Most bars had darts and pool and beer and your friends were the feature.
Now it seems like every bar has 20 TV's since you can get them cheap. I don't always want to watch whatever sports is on. Seems like half the time it's Colin Cowherd who is annoying, or a minor league womens Azerbaijan tennis league and who really cares.
But hey, it's tennis night in America...
