Been flying all weekend. Is it out of line to tell someone something trying to deboard before you from behind?

It's not worth it for your mouth to write checks your arse can't cash, especially in close quarters where you're going to see these people at the Uber collection point, baggage claim, etc.

Those people are the worst, but reality is it’s not worth the fight. I’m sitting on a plane now and I’m in the aisle. What I do if I see it coming is I’ll just get up and stand in the aisle so they can’t go by me.

You are probably correct, but it still pisses me off.

Annoying, but I never make a big deal. I mostly sit aisle and I will use the space to put stuff in my bag as I get ready to deboard.
Also I don't mind if someone is trying to make a tight connection and asks politely as they move by people towards the front.

This is an entirely different scenario. We’ve all been there. And if you’re politely saying “I’m so sorry I have a tight connection” while you make your way up, I’ll go out of my way to help you get past me.

It's annoying but who cares unless you have a super tight connection who cares let them be it's not that serious

If we land late, and someone behind me has a tight connection, then of course I'll oblige. If we're early or on time, I'm standing in the aisle & letting the people in my row out first.

Your first clue should have been, "please prepare the cabin for landing." You don't need your crap and other shite in the seat pockets, which you then have to fish around for after landing.

These threads are black/white…
If someone behind me has a tight connection then it’s perfectly fine. If you’re springing up just to be an idiot, then you should be shot!
EOT.

If I can just simply stand up in the aisle, great, otherwise I let it be. People flying nowadays are crazy.

99% of the time Im in an aisle seat and I'll pull down my carry on and stand in the aisle. They aren't getting by

I've got no issue checking someone with zero manners or travel etiquette. And as others have said, the flying community has been on a tail spin since Covid.

LSU81,
How do you feel if they are trying to hurry to grab their connecting flight?

It's a situation in which I, simply as a categorical, give people the benefit of the doubt. Plane lands late? Rushing forward to catch a connection. Plane lands on time? Rushing forward because they need to take a shite. I don't know, and I don't really care. For every one a-hole just trying to jump the line, there's probably two people with legit reasons for trying to rush forward. It's not worth my time and attention to figure out who is who. If it's that important to them, godspeed. The thirty seconds they add to my deplaning isn't going to affect my life in the least.

Yep. And I've either landed at my destination or planned a comfortable layover.

If the flight is delayed greater than 15 min, 9/10 times the FA's will make an announcement and at that point, people are aware and will let the few people through or if they don't make an announcement, those with tight connections will say something and go ahead.
We are talking about all the individuals with 0 courtesy that attempt to barge their way through for no other reason than to get off.

It’s out of control.

This is generally a learned behavior by being stuck behind people that are on very important phone calls as soon as the wheels hit the ground, and then struggle to grab their multiple bags with one hand, etc.
Yes, we should all wait while you look surprised the seatbelts off ding has chimed, and you break from your trance of your electronic devices to realize, it is in fact, time to get the hell off the plane. By all means, put your newspaper back together and frantically look for a place to stash your empty coffee cup (which will end up in the seat pocket.) We'll all just hang out waiting to read the urgency intentions of the six people in your row.
You're a left lane camper, aren't you? "I'm doing the speed limit," is your defense for obstructing the traffic of life in many facets I bet.

SO I always get up as soon as the plane is within site of the gate, get my shite out of the overheard and push folks out of the way from my coach seat at the back of the plane because what I got going on is more important than the shite everyone else has going on....
Flying today is truly impressive....its no wonder we elect idiots to public office left and right, we can't even measure what size bag will fit under the seat or in the overhead bin even with a measuring jig at the ticket counter and the gate....about 2/3s of the flying public will try to wedge a fricking suitcase the size of a steamer trunk into a space that would hold a 1950s purse if the woman it belonged to had cleaned it out recently and act surprised when it won't go and it has to be checked and checking it creates about 19 hours of fricking delay for the 1/3 of us who can look at a suitcase and say "that ain't fitting".
Then there are the fricking morons who take a window seat, drink a fricking gallon of coffee at the gate and then have another couple of cups during a 2 hour flight and have to go piss about 73 times between Atlanta and Memphis.....
I absolutely loathe flying. Airports are the worst thing to ever happen to mankind, including the holocaust, but airplanes are a close second. Why we put up with it is beyond me but it appears as if the market is growing....it seems that airports and flights are more packed every time you go anywhere than they were the last time you flew. I can't remember being on a domestic flight that was not almost full in years....most or completely full. Its just horrible.
