Several of us are going to a conference in Vegas; the conference host has blocks of rooms in these 4 low-end hotel/casinos. I'm not familiar with any of them and would appreciate some input - which would you choose?

Flamingo
Harrah's
Encore
Treasure Island

ETA: seems like these are lower-end casinos..

One of these is not like the others. Encore is not a lower-end casino. It’s connected to the Wynn.

Encore, especially if someone else is paying. The only one of those I have stayed at was the Flamingo. It was okay and I like the location.

Flamingo had a renovation two years ago.

I enjoyed my stay and it’s the best location.

Encore isn’t low tier

Agree with everyone else - Encore is not low end. Definitely go with that one.

Eh, I would say that lower-end casinos are the ones off the Strip. Even on the Strip, I would say that Circus Circus, Luxor, Excalibur, and the Strat are lower than these.

But I don't really know Vegas all that well, so I could be a bit off. I was in the Flamingo two years ago, though, and it was good enough.

Flamingo is the best bang for your buck on the strip.

We went for a 40th last year and I had no say in the hotel. I was bummed but when we got there it was very nice in the renovated room and we had a blast. It was $150 too

For that location you can’t beat that.

Encore mid tier? Lol it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Encore is hella nice. Also most expensive so be prepared to drop some coin on everything there. Treasure Island used to be notorious for hookers but has a cool pirate show and is closer to Caesar’s Palace. Flamingo has a nice pool. Both Harrahs and Flamingo good gambling casinos. They’re all on the strip so you can walk to other casinos.

They actually have a very nice main pool that's adults only, and then they also have a very nice family pool in another area.

Everyone's already said it, but out of those stay at Encore, and it's not even close.

I've only stayed at Planet Hollywood, but I've done a ton of looking around.

Are you sure Encore is an option? That’s way more pricier than the others.

If it is, that would be my pick by far.
