What's your favorite all-inclusive resort in Caribbean/Central America/South America?

Starting to plan for a honeymoon in December 2020. We want something warm on the beach, preferably all-inclusive. Been looking at different places near the equator, adults only. Any of you been to any of these resorts or can recommend one?

Caribbean
Couples Sans Souci, Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Excellence Oyster Bay, Jamaica
Sandals LaSource, Grenada
Sunset at the Palms, Jamaica
Cocobay Resort, Antigua
Excellence Punta Cana, DR

Central America
Excellence Playa Mujeres, Cancun, Mexico
Secrets Papagayo, Costa Rica
Secrets Maroma Beach, Riviera Cancun, Mexico
Victoria House, Ambergris Caye, Belize (Don't think it's all-inclusive)

I've been to both Secrets Papagayo and to Victoria house in Belize. I would not go back to either. Beaches at secrets were awful.

I just do not like Belize. there are better places.

I'd also stay away from Punta Cana. DR is pretty shitty.

I was skeptical of DR for the most part anyway with some of the recent attacks. Thanks for the heads up.

I can't speak for the resort but this is by far the nicest island/destination of what you've listed.

If I were you I'd be taking a hard look at Palm Island Resort & Spa in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It's definitely a cut above most that you listed. I don't know if it will fit your budget as you didn't list one.

I was shooting for $3k-$5k for 7 nights including travel. $5k is about max with any extras/private meals/excursions etc.

Decide what yall are looking for, pool and alone time, drinking and partying, getting out of the resort, etc. Many times you can do a lot by getting away from the all-inclusive route.

Did my honeymoon at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall.

Had a great time, very nice resort.

Wasn’t too crowded so was pretty quiet. Really enjoyed watching college football while sitting at the swim-up bar pounding drinks.

Food was above-average for an all-inclusive.

Went here on my Honeymoon, and it was awesome. I have nothing to compare it to since I have not been on any other all-inclusive, but it was everything we were looking for.

That place looks legit, but a hair out of my budget. $6500 for two of us all inclusive for 6 nights plus travel.

Yeah, I was afraid it might be. It does include the flight and transfer from Barbados.

Sandals LaSource, Grenada

Full disclosure: We didn't stay there, but stayed the day on the beach, had lunch, next to it before it became Sandals. It looks spectacular and we LOVE Grenada. I've been tracking how it's done since then and it looks like they've put a lot of money into it. Grenada might not be for everyone, but for us it was an amazing experience.

Some selected photos.

Not Grenada, but nearby, FWIW, this is my dream trip location one day.

We don't drink either.. went on my honeymoon three years ago. Seriously give sunset at the palms in negril Jamaica a look. Adults only. All inclusive. Beautiful resort and beaches. Food was incredible. I think i got it all thru an expedia bundle for under 3k. That's flights and stay.
