SEC commissioner Greg Sankey the 2024 College Football Playoff that featured Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama, got it wrong. He thinks Georgia was clearly one of the four best teams in the country in 2023-24...

Georgia could not beat a declining Saban and an Alabama team that had Milroe as QB at what was essentially a home game. 2023 Georgia was not one of the 4 best teams. Ole Miss could have beaten FSU just as badly. Sorry Dawg apologizers.

Aside from Roy Kramer this guy is the worst commissioner I’ve ever seen.

Sankey is the typical rich kid who was born on third base thinking he hit a triple. He inherited a conference whose growth was fueled by Mike Slive.

Sankey is such a pussy and loser. What a nonsensical little bitch comment. Which of the four teams would he have excluded? Alabama beat Georgia. Texas beat Alabama. Washington beat Texas. Michigan beat both Alabama and Washington.

Florida State got screwed after going undefeated. No SEC teams should have been in the CFP in 2024.

Florida State didn’t get screwed. We’ve seen team after team be in the playoffs or in the BCS title game who clearly were not in the league of the team they played when they got there.

Sankey is an idiot for making the comment, even though I think he was right.

I’m about as die hard a Bama fan as you’ll find, but I’m not blind. Do I think Georgia was a better team than Bama last year? Yes, even though we won, the best team doesn’t always win. I think Bama was a better team than Michigan, but we lost. I think if Georgia had played them Georgia wins by a couple scores and wins it all again.

But you couldn’t put Georgia in over Bama, because the last game we saw Bama won.

They’re 100% got screwed. Don’t let your Crimson and white glasses blind you.

They went undefeated in a Power 5 conference and got left out in favor of 2 teams with losses. We can’t let subjective bias determine what happens in sports. That is a path of injustice that will ruin the sport eventually, the “eye test” is 100% subjective bullshite, and it needs to go away forever. A grown man should understand that we can’t decide who gets to play in the postseason in sports based off of feelings and hunches. No one actually knows who the best the teams are until they play each other. That’s why we have to make decisions based on results of the games, not feelings. Remember when everyone in the media thought Ohio State and Michigan were the two best teams in 2006 and should have a rematch in the title game? They were dead wrong.

I simply don't care that FSU got screwed. Do. Not. Fricking. Care.

Sankey and his SEC TV negotiating 'brain-trust' should be apologizing for the horrendous contract with ESPN/disney !

The bottom line is I don't give a shite about a biased opinion one way or the other.
Florida State got screwed and had done what they needed to do to be a Top 4 team all while beating 2 SEC teams along the way.
The committee robbed us of seeing them play with their second string QB and winning the whole damn thing.
Would they have? Probably not, but don't play God by suggesting a certain team should be ranked at X spot because a certain player is injured, while (the Team) has played all year to be deserving of the Y spot.
Total bullshite

Obviously Michigan was the best team in the playoffs, but they should have been disqualified after the cheating scandal broke.

One team definitely shouldn’t have been in there, and that team is Alabama.

Thank goodness smarter people than you were on the committee.

SMARTEST people would NOT invent the format that was used to begin with.

So he thinks Georgia should’ve gotten in over the team that beat them (Bama), the team that beat Bama (Texas), or the team that beat Texas (Washington)?

Quit whining

Being undefeated doesn’t mean shite if you haven’t played anyone. Florida State’s strength of schedule was a joke compared to Alabama who beat the number 1 team and won the SEC. What was FSU’s best win again?
