According to The Athletic, Caitlin Clark is set to sign an eight-figure endorsement contract with Nike. Per the report...
quote:

Clark is expected to receive a signature Nike shoe as well, those sources said. Under Armour and Adidas also made sizable offers to Clark, two industry sources said.

Clark’s previous deal with Nike ended after the conclusion of the recently finished college basketball season, which allowed her to hit the market at the peak of her popularity. Clark was a supernova at the University of Iowa, breaking records and bringing new fans to college basketball. The women’s NCAA Tournament set viewership records with every game in which Iowa played, culminating in 18.9 million viewers for the Hawkeyes’ national title game loss to South Carolina.

Surprising since Nike doesn’t like her color.

Not the best picture.

She isn't Angel or the Cavinder twins, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Good for her that she's getting paid. That 75k salary is pennies compared to the endorsements.

Must be more than 5 million because she turned down 5 million to only play 8 games.

You realize that’s fairly obvious by it being a 8 figure deal?

When it says 8 figures that always means 8 figures to the lert of the decimal point or 2 figures left of the 2nd comma.

I like CC but think her star is going to dim fast because no one cares about the WNBA.

Why would anyone look at an athletic apparel company for anything other than athletic apparel? It true, people will find what they focus their minds on….

I actually watched Clark for a couple games and she's very, very good for a woman player. Obviously. But I'm sorry to say no one will see her play again or even hear about her, because no one watches or follows the WNBA. And I mean NO ONE. I understand a shoe company wanting to capitalize on the Clark-fever happening now, but they better have a good termination clause in their contract because Clark will disappear from the radar very, very soon - even if she crushed it in the WNBA.
