With the type of offense the Crowton likes to run, unless Lee learns to run, he will keep swapping them. Next year, it's unlikely, but Jefferson can throw and run so Lee's job might be in jeopardy then but right now he should be it IMO. The only question about Jefferson is can he run the offense and make his reads?

Retarded? How do you know Jefferson won't be better? You must be retarded if you think Lee will without a doubt be better. Of course he may be now, but he also has a years worth of experience over JJ. My big thing with Lee is that I don't think he is very accurate. He VERY RARELY hits receivers on stride, and this has nothing to do with experience, especially when he can't complete passes to receivers on quick screens.

He is probably one of the most talented quarterbacks that LSU has had in a long time.

See JR and RP (we are talking TALENT alone)

He just needs some experience. Trust me this guy will be gone from LSU by his Junior year. He will be that good!

What has Lee done thus far to instill that type of confidence you have in him? Hell, JJ has a better arm, is more mobile, and who knows what he can bring in his redshirt freshman year.

All that said, I like Jarrett Lee a lot, and I think he can end up being good, but don't annoint him yet, and don't count on JJ because no one really knows.

I agree...I have said Lee still has a lot of growing to do BUT I feel from just watching this kid these last couple weeks he will be a great QB for us!
We have a good team with loads of talent that will only get better going into next year.
As for the loss I had this one marked down at the beginning of the season as an "L" partially due to our young QB's!

As for as calling for JJ to get into the game this kid still has a lot to learn, I felt they should have played Hatch a little more just due to the fact I think he has a little more composure.

Not really.

but I think people forget he is a REDSHIRT FRESHMEN!
Everyone knows this.

He's gonna take some lumps this year and he does have some things that need work, but I believe he has a ton of potential that, if realized, will allow him to have a great career here
In fact, that's the general consensus of about 95% of the posters on this board.

Wonderful analysis there (and grammar).

Jefferson will be better. He fits into Crowton's offensive system better than Lee does, who has zero mobility.
