Kind of weird he got all that money, but everyone else was too. This years edition of the Spartans aren't near as good as last year's team. This is year 3 at Michigan St. I'm not ready to say he sucks becuase of the start to one year

Northwestern didn't win a game in either September or October, still in first place in the Big Ten West.

How about the rest of his career?
Michigan State had a nice year last season with a NY6 bowl, but so have Clay Helton, Tom Herman and Bronco Mendenhall. They have far better head coaching records, too.

The only people that thought he was even in the running for the LSU job was a few ESPN talking heads and the two goofball multimillionaire Mich St alumnai who funded his ridiculous contract.
