I thought Herman would land a bigger job than FAU, but he worked C-USA games for CBS SN this season, so he was able to get familiar with the programs, players and coaches in the league. This looks like a rather shrewd move now.

Boca Raton is also a nice place to set up shop while you rehab your image for the big jobs, kiffin laid the path.

Kinda surprised it took him this long to get another job. He didn't meet the standards that Texas set for themselves but at least he won a Sugar Bowl and never had a losing season, he's done the best job there since Brown was fired. Would have thought G5 teams would have lined up to get him after the exit from Texas.
