I’m kinda surprised at the responses so far. It’s Soundgarden by a wide margin for me.

Down On The Upside, Outshined, Ty Cobb, 4th Of July, Limo Wreck, Fresh Tendrils, Rusty Cage, Slaves and Bulldozers, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, Fell On Black Days, The Day I Tried To Live, Like Suicide...

Seriously. It's not even close. I'd bet just about anything that the same people voting for Audioslave also like Creed, Staind, Nickelback, etc. And there's something wrong with that.

The first Audioslave album is how you do a "supergroup" album - great song after great song. The combination was perfect.

Having said that, Audioslave didn't quite match the highs of Soundgarden for me, although consistency holds a lot of water with me as well.

Audioslave’s Shadow on the sun is one of my all time favorites. I give them the nod. Cornell’s voice is/was perfect for that time in music.

Saw Audioslave when they toured the first album. One of the best shows I ever saw. They get my vote.

I honestly don't think it's close actually, but I pick Audioslave. They have a ton of nostalgic bangers.

Soundgarden. Audioslave is cool, but I’ll take Superunknown and Badmotorfinger.

His cover of "Nothing compares to you" and Patience are equally awesome.

My jam, never get tired of it.

Chris Cornell - Nothing Compares 2U blows Sinead’s cover out of the water, especially separate from her tearful video.
