Jacob Branch scored 25 of his game-high 30 points in the second half to lead Samson to a come-from-behind 67-37 victory over Emanuel Christian of Dothan.
The victory snapped a 65-game losing streak that dated all the way back to 2020.

Emmanuel Christian led 21-2 at the half, but Branch caught fire as the Tigers outscored the Warriors in the final two quarters to secure Samson’s first boys’ basketball win since beating McKenzie 73-54 on January 21, 2020.

And it was Saturday coaching right?

I think he was just pointing out that 28-3 was a bigger collapse BECAUSE it was a title game. The worst team in the NFL blowing a 35-3 to maybe the best in a mid-season game doesn’t really have as much punch to it.

My post was a reference to the Bills, with Frank Reich at QB, coming back from a 35-3 halftime deficit against Warren Moon and the Oilers in the AFC playoffs. January 3, 1993.

not in the USA, but the OP didn't limit his question to the states.

the superbowl is watched by about 100m people roughly. the champions league final usually has a 350 - 400m viewing audience.

A couple weeks ago, the Colts were up 33-0 to the Vikings at the half and up 36-7 with less than 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and ended up losing the game

Bills vs Oilers was one of the best games I’ve ever seen in the NFL besides this year’s Vikings vs Bills game.

The "Boston Massacre"

For several days in July, the Red Sox were 14 games ahead of the rival New York Yankees; at the end of play on July 19, Boston was 62–28 and New York was in fourth place at 48–42.[16] However, the Yankees worked their way back. At the end of play on September 6, the Yankees had reduced the 14-game deficit to only four games,[17] just in time for a four-game series at Fenway Park in Boston. The Yankees won all four games in the series, by a combined score of 42–9,[18] leaving the teams tied with identical 86–56 records at the end of play on September 10.[19] The series became known as the "Boston Massacre",[20] named after the March 5, 1770, confrontation with British soldiers.

Aggie losing to UCLA a few years ago was pretty bad.

Up 44-10 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. That's worse than the Bills vs. Oilers.

UCLA scored 28 points in the 4th quarter and Aggie none and lost by 1 point. If they just had made a FG in the 4th, they win.

People say rushing breaks a team...

Aggie had 382 yards on the ground.

How Aggie couldn't run out the clock is a forever mystery.

UCLA also lost the time of possession by 10 minutes and had 3 turnovers.

But UCLA had 491 passing yards and A&M had 81.

Its a passing game now, has been for awhile.

But that's the biggest choke job.

Close second...for historical purposes and meaningful outcomes.

1974 USC vs. Notre Dame, Ara wrote on the chalkboard, 20 more minutes and we win the National Title.

Notre Dame then beat #2 Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

#5 USC beat #3 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl and won the National Championship.

North Carolina led by 15-20 points at halftime of the national title game. Only to choke it away.

I rode in a Mardi Gras float(wagon) pre-game or halftime, throwing out beads at this game. My dad made us leave with a few minutes left, to beat the traffic, assuming LSU would win. We got to the car and listened to the melt on the way home.

Thats a pretty bizarre anomaly. To go from scoring 2 points in a half to 65 in the next with nothing but a 10 minute halftime break separating the two halves… did the other team play with 2 men in the second half?

Eta

So, we figured out upon closer inspection that the typo in the story was the halftime score. The winning team was only behind by 1 rather than 19. (21-20 not 21-2) So, not nearly as bad as it originally appeared. I mean, they still lost a lead to lose by a 30 piece to a team that had dropped 65 in a row, but not worst in history anymore.
oh well in that case your OP is complete BS

Aggie had like 400 yards on the ground and they ran the ball 3 times in the 4th quarter up 30 points with a QB who ended with 85 yards passing and a QB rating of 22.5.
