I replaced the ice maker and the water filter. It’ll make one or two batches of ice a day and that’s it. A few of the cubes were dirty. Any idea what’s going on?

My Frigidaire was doing that. Service guy came out said everything looked good. He told me I might have the temp set too low and it was freezing the line.

Is the water dispenser flowing or just trickling out?

I ended up taking the whole thing apart, and realized they had the lines on the back of the filter area crossed. The water was flowing backward through the filter.

It was just enough pressure to pass through the backflow valves just enough to trickle water out.

Is it the one you got from me?

Try this. There's also a setting for ice output. Can't find it right now, but that video is in the thread I started.

Heat will cause them to get slow. Make sure it's in an area with good airflow. Now if it's inside in ac then this is not your issue.

How often is it opened?

Those ice makers are fairly simple. Its just a matter of adding water to the tray, freezing, dumping, and then repeat.

So its often times a slow water supply or the temp is too high in the freezer causing it to take a long time.

Probably 4-5 times a day. Wife is a basic broad so is putting ice in her hydroflask. Also have a teething baby.

Temp is on 0*

Mine did the same thing recently. Turns out the wife had overloaded the freezer causing a ton of ice buildup in the back. I took everything out and thawed the freezer with a hairdryer and it has worked like a charm ever since.

I thought my Frigidaire ice maker was shot not long ago. somehow the temp settings were adjusted to too cold.

I adjusted to 38deg fridge and 0 deg freezer and no issues since.
