Why quibbling over her genealogy is the absolute least of her scene.

She's a national treasure.

The country should be proud that it produced someone like her.

Well, actually it was only duplicitous in her development by allowing in here those little sappers from the Institute of Social Research in the '30s.

One of them, Marcuse, recognized immediately that she was already angry - something made to order for the virulent, anti-West behaviorist - so he seized upon it and used it as the perfect invitation to condition her in his fellow-travelers' pet poison - critical theory.

Then he followed up with lobbying enthusiastically before the Berkeley administration attempting to convince them that they should take her on as an instructor.

And he was successful.

Giving us all a clinic in how it is done.

Now she appears on the dubious list of critical theorists for the duration.

Wonder how difficult it is for someone who started out so angry - and anti-white - to reconcile and even live with herself that she is the total product of white, revisionist marxian behaviorists.

So should she hand in her card for "who among us can be the most anti-white."

Since all these years, she has had to live with herself, and admit grudgingly that she couldn't have done without the ones who enabled her.

What a frustrating existence.

A conservative writer in the 1920’s (George Schuyler) wrote a satirical novel called “Black No More”. In his book the Democratic nominee for President ran a campaign based on his racial purity. However, the opposition did research to find out that his “genes” weren’t so pure.

It’s funny that we are still dealing with the same bs 100 years later. The democrats are still worried about racial purity. The book is a great, easy read. I was shocked by how applicable it was to today.

Oh yeah, . . . I forgot to mention. That conservative author also happened to be black.

Angela: Racism is just something to talk about....it really doesn't exist. How about STFU and get happy!

Yes, I imagine it has been a frustrating existence. She was born into a Birmingham at a time that was so hostile, that she frequently witnessed the effects of bombing civilians in such places as homes and churches in her neighborhood.

Is it any wonder she's conflicted? In the episode, she talks rapturously about how her mother - despite those horrid conditions - always assured her that a better day was coming.

It's unbelievable that a lot of you seem to have literally ZERO ability to take even one second to see something through the eyes of another who had a lived reality so starkly different than yours.

I don't like the fact that she fell in with Commies. I'm sure many of her current positions are wearying, boring and frustrating. She might even be unpleasant in social situations.

But to have ZERO interest in the extreme AMERICAN things that pushed her in this direction is just willful incuriousness.

Anyone who watched the episode would have found remarkable the human messiness on display - both by the ancestors and the 2 guests. This is a great series and Skip Gates is awesome for continuing to push it. He doesn't get bogged down in wringing his hands. He accepts reality and asks his guests to do the same.

I'd say both Jeh and Angela handled this WAY better than that pussy, Ben Affleck, who tried to get the show to obscure what they found out about HIM.
