makes sense. reggie's being next door wasn't good for business on multiple levels.

I’m not so sure about that.

I can see how there might be concern about potential liability from all the BS that comes with Reggie’s, along with the unwanted political scrutiny, but I don’t think Reggie’s being right there was hurting his business otherwise.

They’re pretty different crowds or at least were.. granted, I’ve “aged out” of both so things may have changed.

So is it going to become Sportz again?

Pretty sure the reason for the change was because they called it Sports Illustrated. It was renamed Reggie's after the old call in system to schedule your classes.

I only remember it as reggie's. But for some odd reason i still have these sprots illustrated mugs with mike the tiger on one side and tigerland with the rings on the other.

Advocate article said Fred’s Owner was taking it as part of their expansion.. said Fred’s owns the building already and was not extending the lease to Reggie’s once the lease was up anyway..

Over emotional reaction makes it easy for an overreaching action so therefor everyone thinks big government is looking out for them and making a difference!!

I think a couple of new signs on the door could fix a lot of these kinds of problems.

"Crime Scene"

"Do Not Enter"

There's your signs.

He can never personally manage an establishment again in Louisiana that serves alcohol. They hit him hard. All of those bars share owners, one dude has his hand in all but one.

Do you really think he “managed” anything? He will just be the money man behind the next establishment.

The best use of space is to turn the entire Reggie's into a bathroom, Buc-ees-style. No more lines or port-o-lets in the parking lot.

That bathroom floor would be covered with jack & coke, puke, and passed out frat stars by 12:30.

It was Sports Illustrated the. Once the magazine got some trademark lawyers involved it was just Sports. Then later Reggie’s.

Shitty bar regardless of the name.

So is Darren Adams the owner who lost his ABC license? I know he bought it from Billy Stevens back in the day

There were some good memories at Reggie’s. 86 girl dancing on the speaker and blowjobs on the dance floor…good times.

86 was a legend

I wonder what porn site she ended up on

Didn’t a LSU player have sex with some girl on here in the Reggie’s DJ booth?
