This lineup is unfair right now.

This team is doing what the experts call “peaking at the right time”

There is no easy out in the lineup and all can go deep at any moment. Even when no one is on base LSU has a man in scoring position.

Pearson coming to play has really made a big impact on this team.

Pearson Jobert and Dugas have really lengthened the lineup. Early in the season I thought Kling and Jones would have to earn starting spots for this lineup to reach its highest potential but it's good to see the veterans stepping up to carry the team. The lineup is so deep that we have hitters on the bench but there's no one that we ever want to PH for. We have so many options it's disgusting.

The biggest hole in the lineup right now is Thompson, and even he can get streaky and go on a roll. But he still carries his weight at SS and is one of the best base runners on the team and of course he has the clutch gene that you can't teach.

There's no one in this lineup that I would worry about coming up to bat late with our season on the line. Previous years we only had about 3 guys I'd want up in that situation

Peaking, again, at the right time.

Agree but Thompson stepped up too last night. Wasn’t he 3 for 5? Dugas and Pearson are the difference makers and key to a CWS run imo.

The offense will do its part. Our defense is good enough……no worries there. Our weak link is the bullpen. They’ve shown that they can squander a lead in a hurry.

Two weeks ago, 75% of this board were convinced this team wouldn't make it out of a regional

He hit .500 in the regional, thats a pretty strong weak spot

Speaks to how good the lineup is that he's your weakest hitter. Those extra 90 feet he picked up last night were the difference in him scoring on a sac fly later that inning too IIRC. I like the way JT runs the bases

I said it a few games ago. Don't need base runners when you hit homeruns.

Thompson

Dude has balls of Steele.

Still tip the cap for when he pushed that ball up the middle for the win against USM last year in the regional.

He came on in the regional last week. He’s heating back up.

Dugas, Morgan, and Crews busted their slump after the SEC tourney…

I mean Crews slump still had him hitting .420. But still. Him finding his bat is killer.

Bullpen has woken up too. Baseball is about momentum, and the Tigers have it.

You mean the guy that hit .500 in the regional and went 2-4 with 3 RBI last night? That’s quite a hole to fill
