Just curious, do these guys that open these gimmicky fad gyms actually come out ahead for the most part? Or do they end up over expanding and get left out to dry when the fad wears off? Feels like this could be a real money maker but timing is everything ...

D1 Baseball podcast said it well. They got the full LSU mystique...gold jerseys, defending CWS champ, big crowd, crazy pitching performance, wild bunt call, coming off multiple postseason walk offs and they stared it in the face and won anyway. It's impressive...

Yea Larson doesn't look natural in the OF. He may be able to develop there but I think he should try to bulk up and add some power and play 1B...

Obviously Shores has big league talent but he did struggle to find an out pitch early in his freshman year. Idk how much he's been able to develop since he's been hurt, but I would say he's not wrong to have some concern over whether or not he will reach his potential next year. I think he most like...

Has Frey ever tried playing 3rd? We've always found a way to stick a big bat there under Jay so far.
I think if Jones leaves then Larson should try to play 1B. He can spend the off-season adding some good weight and try to hit for more power next year. He doesn't look like a strong OF to me. ...

It wasn't that he should have stolen 2nd, but if Bingham would have read the ball in the dirt he could have advanced on the ball the catcher dropped. A good PR should have been on 2nd...

They underachieved but it happens. I honestly believe the pitching staff was beginning to show what we all expected in preseason and if we could've gotten by UNC we would've made a deep run in Omaha. No doubt. This LSU team was still just starting to find it. Hurd, Hellmers, and Guidry were about to turn this staff into what we thought it would be preseason. Shame we didn't do enough earlier in the season for it to ever fully materialize. Wofford making us burn Herring was brutal...

Harber hadn't touched hellmers all night. I didn't mind putting him back out for one more batter. Hard to account for the ump changing his zone. Hellmers was trying to dot that low outside pitch that he kept calling a strike against us...
