No, it's an index. It also goes down.

Our legislators are underpaid. That's why there are so many trial lawyers.

Landry is a classic bully. I’m guessing you’ve never met or interacted with him.

Hard pass.

I’m guessing you’re a hardcore Trump supporter too?

Oh here we go with the Barber shop Talk. Happens every election year. Sweeping generalizations with nothing to back it up. “Under the table”, “backroom deals“, and all the rest. Hearsay at its finest….

It is frustrating that “conservatives” in Louisiana can’t be bothered to inform themselves on the most basic issues so they don’t elect another fraud.

Landry = JBE

LANDRY!

His policies (social, economic, 1A-2A) are sound and he’s not going to bend to the liberals. The US is screwed up right now and we need people like that to get us back on the right track.

Didn’t one of the candidates vote with the Democrats in the veto session on not overriding a gender pronoun bill?

Found it - Original Thread

quote:

Senate - 28-11 | Two Dem senators - Tarver and Jackson - voted to override the governor's veto. One Repub senator - Fred Mills - voted to block the override.

The vote was 28-11 - two more than two-thirds vote needed House - 75-23 |

Also to note: Richard Nelson (running for Gov) voted against the Don't Say Gay bill override.

Don’t think so. The one that voted with the dems was the Senator from Parks. The pharmacist who likes to dress up like a woman.

Louisiana needs to stop playing checkers and start playing chess. We are more than a few minor changes away from prosperity.

Jeff Landry will rubber stamp whatever legislation some lobbyists push through that helps industry bigwigs with a promise of "trickling down" but never delivering. Will probably maintain popularity enough to move onto whatever he wants. He might even own a few libs, but we'll not move anywhere.

Then, we'll lose another congressional seat, and everyone will think the next person will be the one (they won't be).

This.

In all his years in politics, he has yet to weigh in on state government specific reforms and initiatives, like budgeting, tax reform, centralization/decentralization of spending and revenue, education, civil service, etc.

I'm confused Jeff Landry is in the pockets of trial lawyers?

He sided with JBE and the trial lawyers on the coastal lawsuit “settlement”, which is nothing but wasting money and paying trial lawyers.

The low information Landry loyalist don’t know that. They believe whatever the group-think tells them.

Yes, let’s nationalize the LOUISIANA Governor’s race once again. That’s worked out so well recently.

Please show some consideration for the cockroaches by not comparing them with Landry. They are very sensitive creatures.

Waguespack represents the very thing that prevents Louisiana from moving forward, which is ironic given the marketing they and 107.3 does on him.

You want the spoils system or you want to eliminate income taxes? Choose one.

Nelson

Then in the runoff… ugh but Landry will get my vote

Was hoping Wags was going to bow out as I think Wags and Nelson have the same base.
