They won’t leave. For the vast majority of them, their skill set, while top tier for what they do, doesn’t translate to anything else in the real business world to make an income.
Well…except maybe being a lying politician. ...
That's going to make SEC baseball even stronger
It will. They’ll be able to really stack rosters. Programs like LSU won’t have to worry about playing the TOPS and then pay for books and meals with a half scholarship type game. ...
Wonder if we start to see a shift where smaller schools that may not have any realistic chance to keep up in football, go all in on say basketball or baseball etc.
I used to get pissed at the USL/UL administration for just sitting “comfortable” in football, wanting to be lazy when ...
Possibly as early as next week, college athletics could change forever.
The catalysts are three lawsuits against the NCAA and power conferences that are expected to be settled, with the NCAA owing $2.8 billion in damages, according to reporting by Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger. Th...

I'd imagine the original restrictions and middle-man requirement was a bipartisan accepting of campaign cash and other goodies from dealership lobbyists....
Louisiana lawmakers pass bill to protect ‘freedom’ to buy gas vehicles
Louisiana lawmakers passed a bill Thursday to prohibit any state agencies from limiting the use or sale of combustion engine vehicles and to protect the public’s “freedom of choice” in buying the kind of car they want — unless it’s a Tesla.
It is more than the Landry wing.
The Johnson / Scalise wing is pissed that he backstabbed Scalise to back Kevin McCarthy in the last speaker race.
True. I forgot about that.
You'd have to have a shift in the way many conservatives in Louisiana view Graves. Might take every...

If he can get out of the primary.
Maybe after 8 years it might ease off, but the Landry wing of the LA Republican/conservative voter base has mostly disdain for Graves right now....
