That’s the shakes my man, an extreme hangover. Why I don’t party hard anymore. That shite sucks once you reach a certain age. Last time I had that I had full blown panic attack on the side of I-10

4 days do not make an alcoholic nor cause withdrawals. It takes years to pickle your liver baw.

I think it has more to do with the GABA suppression in the brain caused by alcohol consumption, and when you stop drinking GABA floods the brain (trying to make up for said suppression from drinking) and causes hyperactivity which brings on withdrawal symptoms, but again I am not a doctor

I wouldn't consider it withdrawls. Just a more severe hangover. But I have had this happen to me multiple times after a 3-4 day drinking binge. It sucks but just takes time to "fully" recover.

I'm assuming you are not 21 anymore. For 4 straight days with travel on both ends, in addition to the drinking you probably ate like crap, didn't hydrate enough, and didn't get a enough sleep.

What you described are hangover symptoms that used to last 6-8 hours, but now they last 3-4 days after a 4 day party.

Last 4 day (4th day was flights home, it was rough) bachelor party/guys trips I did took several days to full recovery.

Alcoholics are weak.
Fatties are weak.
Smokers are weak.
Gamblers are weak.
Druggies are weak.
Poors are weak.
People who die of COVID are incredibly weak.

The OT

I get my bespoke dildos from Owlie's Etsy side gig but I wouldn't classify those as medical devices.

I'd go take another covid test and get another booster. Then take another test and another booster after that. You'll feel much better and stopping the spread

For just a 4-day binge I’d say NAC and SAM-e supplementation, hydrate, and call it a day…

If Legit alcohol(or benzo) detox then seek professional assistance because death is a definite possibility.

You’ve got it backwards. It’s the unopposed glutamate that causes the unsettling symptoms.

OP is discovering he's an alcoholic in real time. This is fascinating.

That’s a hangover. Your body just finally got off enough booze to identify the pain.

Real withdrawal comes with a desire to have a drink

Welcome to aging Op. Hangxiety as you get older SUCKS

I rarely get hammered now because of it. I would much rather have the headaches and nausea again. I never get those symptoms much anymore

What I will get is a racing heart the next day and a feeling I am going to have a heart attack and leave my kids behind ? Way worse

Truth.

And if you try to battle it with another drink (hair of the dog) it just makes it worse.

I've cut my drinking recently because of that terrible feeling. It's just not a fun existence. Alcohol being a depressant never registered with me until my mid-30's.

BIL recently did. Had a stroke, a few seizures, and all of the other DT symptoms.

True and since alcohol gets in your blood it affects every single system of your body.

Three months sober here.
