I have first hand experience with a ghost meter. Worked for a state agency and for years we were being charged a base fee for a meter we could
Not locate. Entergy couldn’t either. They finally reimbursed us for the precious 12 months and that was it. Three years later I find the street address driving down hwy 30. Four miles off of the property they had been charging. Wouldn’t think it is that hard to figure out but it happens.

Not only is St. John's a great restaurant and so is its sister restaurant Gris-Gris.

As of last week, doesn't serve red beans on Monday so no-no.

But just think of the meaningless festivals every single weekend. And also…well I got nothing.

Yea she sure is. But she doesn’t control Entergy

You’re right, she doesn’t. The city council controls Entergy New Orleans.

And in a normal functioning city, a business(or even a private residence) can usually call on someone on the council or in the mayors office to help with matters like this.

Another liberal that’s probably been voting for democrats his entire life…and is now pissed because their incompetence has reached his front door. Zero sympathy for him. Bye.

Ok, I have to fall on my sword and admit I may have been wrong about him being liberal as others have pointed out.
I think I was confused thinking about another place

Preach, brother. This City is thriving. There’s another convention next week and a cruise ship in town.

Let me also add, the most expensive dish on the menu last Monday was the scallops over a white bean reduction.

Ohh, you don't have red beans, but I'll take some scallops over white beans for sure...

The scallops were overcooked and it wasn't white beans, it was literally some reduction of white beans and I was disappointed.

Their shrimp and grits was pretty good. The service was very friendly and attentive. And we got several apps and multiple entree's to blow it out because it was our last night in nola so why not. I'm not trying to totally shite on them, but I'm not going to pretend it is a michelin star restaurant. It's just a restaurant.

This is gris-gris I'm talking about, never been to St Johns.

Ate there on NYE before the Sugar Bowl two year ago. The Oysters Saint John was outstanding. Hopefully he gets out of NOLA and moves to Memphis or Oxford and opens up a new spot.
