Costner is the most successful.

Russell is my favorite.

Bridges is the best actor.

I like them all.

Everyone here has forgotten a good one, The Highwaymen with Costner as Frank Hamer

Jeff Bridges in Dumb and Dumber and The Big Lebowski. Those two alone make him the choice here.

I forgot what a badass JT Walsh was in this.

Good flick. Sort of like Steven Spielberg's "Duel" on steriods.

Have you been under the impression that Jeff Bridges played Harry all this time?

I am biased here, Costner by a mile.
Great quotes from great movies.

Have never been a fan of Costner. Yellowstone is about the only thing besides Tin Cup I can stand him in.

No one has even mentioned the movie Bridges won the Oscar for. Crazy Heart is not my personal favorite by him, but it is significant for this discussion.

• Costner is too one-note of an actor.
• Bridges has become a parody of himself.
• Russell doesn't have the most range, but if we're talking about careers? Russell started with small roles in TV series that were iconic and still shown to this day (Gunsmoke, Gilligan's Island, Lost in Space, and on and on). He had a second career as Disney's go-to teen leading man (his name was one of the last things written by Walt on his notepad before passing away). He then had his baseball career as a player and manager, then his "star" career that has gone on for five decades by itself.

I'll add "Open Range"
"Mr. Brooks"
"Dances With Wolves"
"Silverado"
"The Untouchables"
"JFK"

Jeff Bridges but I bet most Americans couldn’t name him if shown a picture, but Kevin Costner is iconic.

Box office
Bridges $3.2 B
Russel - $1.2 B
Costner $3.0 B
