I seriously don't understand the love affair the Playoff Committee has with Oregon

Or the love affair of Bo Nix over Jayden Daniels for the Heisman race for that matter. College Football Nerds lays it out very well on Twitter. Oregon has 0 ranked wins. Texas has a Top 10 win and the same record as Oregon. Alabama is 3-1 against ranked teams so far this year, winning those games by an average of 14 points. Yet Oregon is ranked ahead of both Alabama and Texas.

Jayden Daniels has played better competition than Nix and has better stats than him, yet is currently trailing in the Heisman race.

Make it make sense.

Your stance is a good window into what’s going on. Alabama and SEC fatigue.

It’s all part of tDecline, you just have to embrace it

It doesn’t really matter though. The committee is basically telling Alabama win out and you’re in, lose and you’re headed to the Go Daddy bowl

2 transfer QBs who sucked at their previous schools are wrecking a shite conference

I hope OSU and Michigan both lose once so we can watch Washington and Oregon get wrecked by Bama and UGA (sorry TU…you’re gonna get fricked)

Well that's on the other conferences/teams to be better.

Ok. It generates revenue. This is, and always has been, controversial by nature and on purpose. It’s controversial because it will get clicks, headlines, talking heads can debate, and people can start threads on media sites bitching about it like this one. (I agree with you completely) This is the exact same scenario that our government has created by peeling back that curtain slightly to show how fricked up things actually are, but never revealing the truth. They WANT us to be talking about the injustice because it creates controversy, which creates drama and TV viewership, which sells ads, which generates revenue. Only the government wants us constantly talking about the next storyline, (potential war, LBQT and tranny bullshite, the border, Epstein, giving Ukraine 80+ billion dollars, BLM, and on and on) so that we argue amongst ourselves and they can do what they actually want to behind the scenes like send Iran 10 billion dollars and hopefully no one knows about it.

This is all about stirring shite up to get people to talk about it around the coffee pot, well the people that actually still work in this country, because it drives revenue.

Combine that with SEC fatigue (guarantee you if Bama gets in they will play Georgia, guaran-frickin-tee it) and the entire southeastern part of the country will bitch about it (but still tune in) because it drives revenue.

Trying to make sense of stuff like this and most other things in the world that aren’t rational is exactly like arguing with a woman, you are just spinning your wheels.

There are 3 1 loss teams in the rankings. Oregon, Texas, and Alabama. Oregon has a loss to one of the 5 undefeated teams ranked above them. Bama has a loss to one of the other 1-loss teams, Texas who has a loss to OU.

Oregon being the top-ranked 1-loss team only seems logical to me. While Bama looks like the better team now, it is hard to overlook that they have that loss to Texas. It will all take care of itself by December 3rd.

Is he really, though? He may be but predicting Heisman voters is iffy at best.

It’s odd that so many pundits are expecting Oregon to beat UW in a rematch. I’m sure UW is tired of hearing that.

It's their lack of wins vs currently ranked teams, isn't it?

But Oregon has no wins over teams that are currently ranked. Texas has the best win out of the three one-loss teams. Alabama has three wins over teams currently ranked in the Top 25.

The rankings should be:

#6 - Texas
#7 - Alabama
#8 - Oregon

Jesus Christ.

When did we start splitting hairs on losses for 1 loss teams before looking at who they have beaten?

In the past you motherfrickers have ONLY cared about what a team has beaten.

Member when OSU and Oklahoma State lost to fricking 6-6 shite teams? Y’all didn’t give ONE frick about the losses there.

Alabama fans bitching about the "quality loss" argument is just great.

Do rules change again for Bama?

If I recall correctly, best loss is what matters like in 2011, so Oregon should be #5 no question. 3-point loss on the road to a top 4 team.

Bama lost by double digits at home, and so should be #7. Texas not only bear Bama at Bama, only lost by 4 at a neutral site.

So Bama loses by more than the other two teams lost combined and should be ranked higher?

Hypocritical Bama fans. Rules change as long as Bama is in best position.
