The critics also hated The Terminal List. Anything with a strong white male main character, military, violence, and guns is the worst thing that could ever exist in their eyes.

I can’t get past the firearm problems. Automatic long guns beat handguns every time in the real world. And with as many people trying to kill you around every corner nobody seems to be carrying their 9MM with one in the chamber.

I look forward to each episode, but this season has been kind of dumb. Season 1 was much better.

I very much enjoyed the first season and binged it real quick. Willa Fitzgerald was hella girl next door hot. It was engaging.

This season has been total arse and I agree with the reviewer that the stupid arse catch phrases repeated over and over again reminds me of this parody:

It appears evident they cheated out. And it appears, not k owing source material, that they should have chosen a better book.

S2 is not as good as S1. It is passable. My problem with this season is the whole super soldier team think like Dennis Allen.

Some of the catch phases are dumb, sure. But they don't bother me as much.

I don't have an issue with the fight choreography. I'm just looking to be entertained. I'm not judging a contest.

Russo not driving somewhere safe is probably easier said than done in that situation. I really have no idea. But i got the impression that he was trying to distract fire from the little girl which is why he left cover and walked out shooting.

Is there lazy writing? I guess. Does it take away from the show, not for me.

Season 1 was better. They should've stayed with the Reacher book formula of he gets to a small town, finds trouble and kills everyone. I can't recall the book this season is based on but I read it years ago, I've read them all, but I would've waited a few seasons before a team up.

Then they couldn't have showcased a strong black woman in the 2nd spot.

I loved season 1, I've read the 1st 10 books, I love Reacher; however, season 2 of the show has been a bit of a disappointment to me. There is a lot less "Reacher" in this season than the 1st.

I actually like the actress playing Neagly. She's Danish. There is just too much of her and the rest of the "team" this season. They used her much better in season 1.

People. You are putting too much on this show. It’s only as good as the source. And the source is a book series with the most unrealistic hero ever. It’s fiction guys.
There are 29 books. They just picked a bad one for s2.

You can say the same thing for the Tom Cruise movies also. I think Jack Reacher is a really good, fun movie. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back sucks. I think that is probably more Christopher McQuarrie's absence plus the supporting cast for the first one is better. Some of the same arguments can be made for Reacher season 1 to 2. A better book and a better cast in the first one.

Amazon dumbs down everything. Terminal List was cheesier than it should have been, Jack Ryan varies between pretty good and horrible, and Reacher is up and down.

That said, Amazon is a good fit for Reacher. The books are mass market stuff and have some cheesiness. I personally think some of the books are darker and more substantive than Amazon can pull off (and that was one of the few areas where the Cruise movie was better), but I don't think Reacher is being "wasted" on Amazon.

The Jack Carr novels, however, are too good for Amazon and would be miles better on Apple, sadly.

Definitely not as good as season 1 but still a fun watch.

The ending, when they find Russo and just sort of let him die without even trying,
This shite right here bugged the hell out of me. Guy is alive and responsive. Don’t bother applying direct pressure to his wounds. Just stand around and stare. Terrible scene.

The Reacher books are good reads, interesting characters and fast moving stories.
I read about fifteen of them and had to take a break to let my nightmares gather their inspiration elsewhere.

I really enjoyed season 2. I binged it all in 2 days. Sounds like some of these people took a fictional show wayyyyy too serious.

For my part, and compared to everything else out there, I’ve actually liked it quit a bit.

Every episode has been great to this point, compared to other crap on what passes for TV, this show is pretty solid.

I also noticed that on the 5 minute car chase/shootout there were no other cars or pedestrians in sight.....in New York City.

this is all I thought about. I have been stuck in more traffic jams at 2am than I can count.
