Anyone been? Thinking about doing dinner there this week.

Place looks the part, just wondering if the food can match the atmosphere

Wife and I went a couple weekends ago. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the spicy lamb ragu and she had the gulf shrimp paccheri. She also enjoyed the roasted garlic, mushroom, and artichoke soup. We’ll definitely be back.

The build out looks they spent a bajillion dollars on it. Nice looking place from pictures.

I trust the chef so I imagine its pretty good.

Have not been yet

I went on NYE night. I say all of this with the understanding it's a new establishment:
- the bar area and overall restaurant gives off a great vibe, the restaurant is also huge
- we were seated almost 40min after our reservation time

We ordered the following:
- calamri app
- meatball app
- oyster bordelaise app
- Gulf Shrimp Paccheri
- Creole Cream Cheese Malfatti
- A pork and crab pasta (i don't see on menu)

The gulf shrimp paccheri was really good - other than that, the rest of the items were ok. I like the atmosphere, but will maybe give them a bit more time before going back.

Also just to be fair, nights like NYE are hard on restaurants, and you really cannot judge them on those nights

No doubt. Just from a food perspective, I did enjoy Osteria Lupo more. But like you said, NYE and it's new - so will be back later to give it another go.
