Could Celsius cause Gout flare ups?

I broke my kneecap right before my 2nd deployment to Iraq in 2011. A few years after getting out I developed Gout in the same leg and get pretty severe and debilitating flare ups. The last one was the worst.
I eat a protein focused diet with little to no junk food and I wouldn’t say it’s a high amount of red meat. Get a min of 10k steps a day and on good weeks hit the gym a min of 3 days.
My alcohol consumption is hit or miss. I could go a month or two without having a drink and then have a six pack of shiners back to back nights.
With that said I have been drinking Celsius literally every day for at least the path month. Sometimes I have two a day. In that time I had only had a few twisted teas.
A few days ago was the first time I had a flare up that went from 0-10 on the pain scale in what seemed like minutes. Normally I can feel it coming a couple days in advance. It was so bad I had to sit down and crawl up the stairs backwards. I was on my way to the store yesterday to get a Celsius and realized maybe that is causing it. Needless to say yesterday was my last Celsius.
Just curious if any of you have any insight to this.

Have you thought about taking something for gout? I have a family history, had one flare up and that was enough for me. I have been on allopurinal since and have had no issues.

If you’re able to connect that to a gout flare, then it’s highly plausible.

My platoon sargeant drank about 10 monsters a day on one deployment. He ended up getting kidney stones. Of course, this is completely anectdotal, but kidney stones and gout are two very similar ailments.

What is it in the Celsius that you think could trigger this?
