St George didn’t split from anything. Even national news people who are pro St George are dumbasses who don’t know all that happened is an unincorporated area became incorporated.

Do these people not realize how bad it sounds to say that forming its own city is going to deprive Baton Rouge of tax revenue needed for their area? They are saying the quiet part out loud, the citizens of St George have been disproportionately supporting the city of Baton Rouge.
