Depends on their age.

Young women want hot guys with status. They can be as mean as a snake and dumb, it doesn’t matter. They’ll complain but make excuses for them.

When they’re older, they’re forced to narrow it down to the important things. Can he support me? Does he have prospects for advancement? Is he reliable?

They’ll always crave the hot guy in the morning hours when they reminisce. They’ll always feel that little jolt when thinking about them. But after a certain age, when there is yet another crop of comely young lasses arriving and they’re reminded that time is pitiless, they make more calculated choices.
