It's not a "Gag order". It's a standard non-disparagement clause in an employment contract. The only rights involved are the rights to agree to, and honor, contracts.

Doesn't that apply both ways? Boring, Shapiro, and Klavan have repeatedly trashed Owens since she was fired, but I guess that's d(I)fferent

You’re not wrong, but you’re not recognizing that this is irrelevant because Shapiro was on Twitter actively fighting with Candace Owens and arguing about terms of an alleged debate they were going to arrange. Meanwhile at the same time he was orchestrating the “gag order” which would neuter her and prevent said debate from even being able to be done.
It’s pure theatrics and dishonesty
