I feel ya. Everytime I try to read up on this stuff, I get tired two minutes in and give up.

My fleeting readings indicate Israel did indeed.... "dis" people almost a hundred years ago, taking land. But, shrug....none of that will be reversed. NEVER. Palestinians are fighting a losing battle, regardless whether their position is "righteous".

Apologies for conflating Palestinians with Hamas, but it's all a never-ending shitshow.

Further (apologies, surely I speak with ignorance), I recoil at discussions of Israel/Palestine because it makes me think of Kosher/Halal dietary habits. I can't respect such OCD eating habits, so end of day I find myself giving no fricks about either group. It's just silly. Joint near me gets good ratings for the food, but their website yaps about their "halal" wings, and no.... not gonna support delusional beliefs.

Go read the history. Kidnappings, hijackings, mass murder.

Things are tame compared to the 70s. Palestinians will always have violent, shitty leadership.

For centuries their has been an Arab - Jew conflict. Recently, Israel has developed working relationships with a few Arab countries of a particular Muslim identity which inflamed those of another Muslim identity.
