Yeah, because rebounding and defense aren't an important part of the game. It's all about gaudy scoring averages, right? Let me know when they name NBA Finals MVP Award after Rudy Gobert. Since he's never sniffed the NBA Finals, you may be waiting a while.
If Rudy Gobert played on a team with 5 other all-stars in a league of only 8 teams, he would have won a bunch of Finals too.

dude WTF are you talking about? you know you can look this stuff up, right?

Russell played in the All Star game from 58-69
in those years he played with three team mates in the All Star game ONE TIME, 1962

the Celtics All Stars from that era were usually G Sam Jones, F John Havlicek, and C Russell

an old Cousy, Heinsohn and an old Bailey Howell were mixed in at different times. Wilt had All Star team mates too.

So I will grant you Sam Jones and Hondo and Russell were stout but the guy who validates your point is Tommy Heinsohn?

The NBA expanded to 9 teams in 1961-62, 10 teams in 1966-67, 12 teams in 1967-68 and 14 teams in 1968-69
