My neighbor has a Generac. During Ida, it ran non stop for 18 days straight, never shut it off for a second. Dude even took the shrouds off it so it'll run cooler (not a good idea).
I have a 20KW Kohler, I run mine for 100hrs, shut it down and change the oil then fire it up. Served me well so far.
