My neighbor has a Generac. During Ida, it ran non stop for 18 days straight, never shut it off for a second. Dude even took the shrouds off it so it'll run cooler (not a good idea).
I have a 20KW Kohler, I run mine for 100hrs, shut it down and change the oil then fire it up. Served me well so far....

As others have said, your truck will do it, but not safely. I towed (around 6k lbs) annually to Kentucky and it was always a stressful trip with 1/2 ton truck..

Stay in Nashville for a few nights then head southeast down I-24 to Monteagle. Rent a tiny home for the remainder of the time. You'll be 45 mins from Chattanooga and near the the South Cumberland State Park, College of the South, Jack Daniels Distillery (a must to go on a tour), the Caverns, etc.
