Republicans control every level of this state right now and are doing nothing of note to improve our ranking.

Until we get out this uniparty mindset and start holding some of these morons in Baton Rouge accountable for their voting nothing will change.

It starts with the people first. it doesnt matter who is in office. We have a large percentage of people in this state that are completely fine with not working, not getting an education, and generally being a complete parasite to the people around them.

About the only thing you might be able to curtail is the crime and to do that would involve stuff thats meanie pants to the general public

And this right here is why we're in the shape we're in: Thinking government, of any party, is going to change things for the better by doing more. It's a democrat's mindset.

They need to do less, e.g., stop incentivizing and funding fatherless homes, stop incentivizing and funding able-bodied working age people to not work, stop funding those peoples' healthcare, etc. etc.

The only thing that's going to save society is incentivizing the nuclear household. Fix that, and in a generation it wouldn't even look like the same country. Because let's be honest, most of the bottom tier states have a large contingent of citizens who the democrat party has raped and pillaged and lead around by a carrot for a free ride on the voting bus. That contingent of people have been generations removed from having large sects of their culture having strong nuclear families, and it drags the rest of us and our "numbers" down.

It starts at home, and no politician can mitigate for that fact.

That helps. For over a century democrats held the power in Mississippi. Result?? 50th 50th 50th 50th 50th 50th 50th 50th 50th……year after year.. decade after decade.

Then the Republicans took a majority and then a supermajority. Result??

Back in 2021, the last time nationwide rankings were released by Education Week as part of the organization’s Quality Counts report, Mississippi ranked 35th out of 50 states in education. Graduation rates are turning around. State and national testing grades are turning around.

So it helps when the people of the state wise up.

Bingo. Democrats ran this state at all levels for about 95% of it’s miserable existence.

A Republican is elected governor for what, the fourth time since reconstruction, and this stupid MFer is worried about athletes standing for the anthem and ThC gummies.

Idiots. I can’t wait to move out of this state.
