It also wasn't Rory McIlroy.
But yeah... he said the guys who arrested him were cool. He handled himself exceptionally well, in my opinion. Was just a meme I thought was funny.

I am now a fan of Scottie. The way he handled himself yesterday on the course, with the media, and signing autographs after a long and weird day really made an impression on me. I hope he finds a way to win it this weekend.

Why was Blockie such a big deal last year? Was he actually in contention?
2 pro’s made the cut this year & seems like it hasn’t been as big of a deal.

This is why most knew from the moment the story hit twitter that it was some overzealous cop on a power trip that caused this. Scottie Scheffler is the very last guy that would be causing trouble.

Talked to an LMPD guy yesterday and his response to that was, “Everybody knew Gillis fricked up and was going to do everything they could to make that guy as comfortable as possible so they’re not included in the lawsuit”.
