If a sentence is complete, no probation, no parole and no unpaid fines, fees, restitution, then I am in agreement. That individual has done everything the law requires to pay for their crimes.

I disagree. If the person was a model prisoner and earned the right for early release they why keep penalizing them?

The whole point is rehabilitation and early release probably shows they are on that path.

Even if they murdered, assaulted, or raped someone? Sorry, sometimes life has to have consequences.

I'm for restoring rights for certain non-violent offenses, but to extend that to crimes of violence is a bridge too far.

How are Americans not fed the fk up having to pay big brother for permission to exercise your rights? How are people so short sided to not see how easily this can be abused. Plus, the judicial system is all about the money so fk that.
