Seems like they’re moving from the lake to the river. A lot of the big sections north of I-10 look to be done and the area around airline looks untouched

Just got power back up here in Calcasieu. Two good sized oak trees took out a pole up above me.

When to expect the next round of severe weather in the BR area? This evening or overnight?

Hrrr has another line of storms moving through tonight between 11 and midnight. It doesn’t look all that impressive however

My whole damn 1/4 mile driveway was covered in limbs. Had to move them to the side just to take kiddos to school (because bus driver called and said our street had trees and power down). All I could think is that all day tomorrow is gonna be spent doing yard work. FML.

If you have a 1/4 mile driveway, shouldn’t you have some Mexicans too?

Any one know what is up with all the haze in SELA? It looks like Willie Nelson’s bus crossing the Luling Bridge.

That really depends entirely on where that boundary sets up. Looking at current surface obs it looks to be right over BR.

HRRR seems to favor BR getting in on the action.

I don't mind spring showers, and don't want a repeat of last year, but I've had enough of this week's weather.

The cell that hit Houston was a supercell with a defined hook. The damage is consistent with a derecho, but also a tornado, or even straight-line winds! I believe it had tornadic winds under the rotating mesocyclone, without cyclogenesis!

This weather is dumb. This is not the Midwest but the weather sure is acting like it.
