Correct. The market is flooded with Paul Skenes cards. I think there are over 100 different variations of cards out there. The only ones really going up in value right now are the # ones with auto. For comparison, Pistol Pete Maravich only has ONE rookie card. Those always hold value and never go down in price. I would not buy a Paul Skenes card right now because the prices are going up fast. The time to buy was months ago. The market is flooded and only the rich will make money.

Yes, some of them. When he was in the Super Bowl, I remember a PSA 10 rookie base card of his was selling for $500. He lost in the Super Bowl and it immediately dropped to about $300. After he got hurt last year, it dipped to an all time low of around $150. It will go up again if he has a good year this year but people must understand that all of the money that the government gave away during covid is what made card sales skyrocket in "fake/false" value. Most cards aren't worth half of what people paid for them in 2021. It's a buyers market right now for cards of athletes who aren't hot. You can get them cheap.

Technically he doesn't have any true Rookie Cards on the market. Only first Bowman cards (which are valuable too) and probably some unlicensed stuff. Look in Topps Update later this year for a true RC.

Good lord you see what the rookie bowman chrome Dylan crews auto’s are going for? Got a lot of them on eBay already. Definitely going to hold off on those right now. Not too bad for a AA player right now

Jump in that Time Machine and set it for present 2024. Fleer is gone and topps is still around but barely. Panini is a major player and refractors, #cards, and autographs is what is hot.
