Is there nothing that isn't a deep dark conspiracy to you idiots?

I haven't heard anything that indicates either way.

So basically you haven't heard anything, you don't know anything, but just lighten up your dreary existence you decide to start some shitee?

What in the hell motivates someone like you?

Hell no he wasn't nudged out. Too bad for Jim that he's the only broadcaster that makes mistakes.

Without a doubt, there will be some of us who will criticize the new guy,

This.

Vin Scully in his prime would catch hell from LSU fans. It's what we do at The Rant.

Maybe he just wants to sit down and watch a sporting event in peace with out having to commentate on it. It's been years since he could just sit back and enjoy a game.

Can't he already watch the NFL on Sundays or Monday night like the rest of us?

No way he was forced out. He could have stayed as long as he wanted.

Growing up in N La we didn't have much access to LSU except the radio. Nothing better than sitting on the back porch with a cold one listening to Jim Hawthorne call a baseball game.

After listening to a couple games on Sirius during the SEC tournament, if we get a replacement like the R-Kansas and Auburnt announcers y'all are going to wish Jack Hunt was still calling the games

He certainly appears to be going out the way he would like to with the advance notice allowing fans to show their appreciation.

Everything is a conspiracy with most LSU fans. Especially those not yet out of diapers. Your paranoid pappys should be proud.

Does Hawthorne have a say in the selection? Or is this an outside search firm? My concern is that LSU is going to settle for locals like Moscona and Rush.
