I love the white and the purple but I think it would be awesome if they broke out some black unis for a home game against a crap team.

The white helmet/purple jersey/white pants is far and away the coolest looking combo we have. I'm a fan of traditional, but would vote for this as our 2nd choice all day long.

LSU has worn gold jerseys in the past. Dinardo had them wear gold when Vanderbilt refused the white jerseys. I liked the gold with the white pants and purple helmets.

just cut out that black uniform silliness. Black has NEVER been an LSU color, and should never be considered. In fact, any nontraditional colors or designs for LSU uniforms should be expressly prohibited.

All these damn youngsters and the purple jerseys. They have no idea that the whites are traditional and we actually had to fight the bureaucracy to be able to wear them when DiNardo brought the Magic back (all the way to the Shreveport Poulan Weedeater Independence Bowl).

Not black, but grey like a lot of shirts and gear has would be pretty sweet Never happen though. I've been calling for more purp for years. SVP says he likes it and all of a sudden so has everyone else!
